The Journey to Work project supports adults with mental disabilities in Belgium and Bulgaria through tailored social skill-building and employment exploration.
Social Skills Development: Participants engage in online exchanges, fostering interaction between people with disabilities and their care providers, followed by a real-world experience during an international trip.
Employment Exploration: Through experiential learning, participants explore job opportunities suited to their abilities and engage in a public debate with stakeholders on employment challenges, contributing to a broader understanding of regulatory issues.
By cultivating social and work-related skills, Journey to Work project promotes meaningful integration and provides valuable insights into supporting adults with mental disabilities in the workforce.
Reach out if you want to volunteer to translate during our on-spot activities in Belgium and Bulgaria, or to support our back-office in organising the activities under the project.
